This ring is so sweet! The genuine oval (color change) Alexandrite measures approximately 5x3mm and weighs 0.29 carat. It is surrounded by a halo of tiny natural diamonds, with an additional diamonds in each shoulder. The diamonds total 0.178 carat, SI Clarity, G-H Color.
Alexandrites are also called "Emerald by day, Ruby by night" to describe it's natural color change effect from a greenish tone in daylight to a reddish- purple tone by candlelight.
